Infant Fashion Sunday: Naartjie Ohmigosh!

Now before you judge me, I must make a disclaimer: I did not purchase all of these outfits. I left one of them behind, hehe. :) I have not purchased any baby clothes in a long time. Notice I have not posted infant fashion in what seems like ages? That's because nothing tickled my fancy. I was shocked to actually find something I liked for a change. I guess most summer clothes are not suitable for reborn dolls due to cloth bodies, so I don't shop much for doll clothing over the summer. But guess what, y'all? Fall is on the way, yippeee! :)

Naartjie is doing it BIG this fall! For those of you who don't speak "black speech", that means Naartjie has designed some of the most adorable pieces! :) I had to have them. I have Kylie Strydom and Shyann almost ready, a privately ordered Elise Michaels, and a Juniper from my private collection. All of them need clothes and Naartjie to the rescue! :)

Hiya ladies! Lauryn is on eBay searching for her forever home. I played around with colors while making her tutorial video. I call the new skin tone Honeybee Myxx. I doubt I will have the chance to paint it again (unless it is requested), but I will still include the tutorial in November's package. Honeybee Myxx is not quite as dark as Honey Berry, and much more saturated than Toffeetopia. It is definitely a classic biracial tone that I see every day. :) :) Anywhoo, Lauryn is waiting for a mom:

Hi everyone! Geovanni's photo shoot will come soon. I decided I did not like his body after all. I have ordered a new body. Hopefully, it will arrive next week and Geo can ship home. I am very picky about bodies! :)

Anywhoo, this little girl is being worked on alongside another Elodie I have in progress. Her name is Lauryn Paris and she is based on the 18" Lainey kit by Marissa May. I love her pretty face! She reminds me of Jessica Alba's little girl, Honor Marie. Lauryn's nose is fantastic and I love all of her dimples! Based on this progress photo, Lauryn needs a few things in the paint department. Lucky for her, I can handle that. ;)

Lauryn has the Apricot Love-A-Lot base skin tone, but I used the blush from the Honey Berry palette. Zackary, the Elodie I am working on alongside Lauryn has the Honey Berry skin tone, and I thought it would be fun to mix the colors a bit.  I really love Lauryn's sun-kissed Apricot coloring!

Update July 19: Lauryn is in her second phase of painting and will go to eBay tomorrow, yay! She now has earrings and a cute topknot adorned with a little white ribbon. No worries, I am planning to trim the ribbon. I can't find my teensy weensy scissors anywhere! Ugh, I have some hunting to do. :) Lauryn's outfit is darling. It is a t-shirt and chambray skort set made by Carter's. It really suits her style.

Pictured left is the blank Lainey kit by Marissa May. It is so cool to see what a little bit of paint and mohair can do! I can't wait for Lauryn's final shoot tomorrow. Okie dokie, I am off to finish painting.

Yo everyone! Geovanni is finally ready for photos. I had great sunlight until 4:00 pm when a thunderstorm interrupted my little party, hehe! Oh well, there is always tomorrow. I LOVE this little guy! I must make a couple of Elodie babies for myself. Please excuse the pencil markings on his scalp! They will completely disappear in a couple of weeks, but his new mommy has been waiting so patiently for him, I must get him to California with the quickness! :) Geovanni is now dressed in a snuggly white outfit waiting for the next phase of his photo shoot. I will post more tomorrow.

Hiya ladies! As I mentioned before, I am making a Natalia look-a-like for myself, while my private orders are baking/cooling. I have received many requests for Natalia look-a-likes, and I am willing to part with mine.

I am asking $2500 USD shipped which includes a tummy plate and a baby shower in a box. New mom may choose eye color, clothing, weight, and name. Earrings and magnetic pacifier are available upon request and free of charge. This is Geovanni (sold). He is an Apricot Love-A-Lot Elodie. He will go home next week. I have fixed what I needed to based on this progress photo, but he will get another progress photo before his final shoot. I just love these eyes on the Apricots!

FYI: I also have an Apricot Love-A-Lot Kylie Strydom in progress. I will post a progress picture of her soon. She is a sweetie big girl! I think she may wear 3-6 month size clothing...but more than likely 0-3 months.

I also have 'It's a Girl' by Tina Kewy in progress. She is in the early stages of Apricot Love-A-Lot coloring, so her progress photo will not come for a while, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case someone is searching for the perfect biracial sleeper. :)

Hola amigos! Remember Saige Avaleigh from earlier this year? Well, she is back and better than ever with an adorable new look! Take a peek at her new blue eyes, extra paint layers and earrings! I love her this way. I sold another baby based on the Will Scholl kit. His name is Bastian Cree. The weather was awful so I just shipped him home without a photo shoot, but he was Apricot Love-A-Lot with these exact blue eyes. I thought I'd give the eyes a try on Saige and voila, here she is! I hope everyone is having a glorious summer! I, for one, have been waiting a longggg time for summer, so I am savoring every moment of it, lol! :) Happy Sunday, everyone!

Natalia Julienne is finally ready to ship home. I can never have too much Shyann in my life! :) Shyann is hands down one of the sweetest faces ever sculpted! Thank you, Aleina for sculpting this pretty little face! :) I found a lovely smocked Sarah Louise dress set in the baby closet.  I wanted a deep pink dress for Natalia, but when I held the baby pink close to her face, I saw fireworks, hehe. :)
