I just love packing up my babies and sending them home! The following pictures are of Catalina Lourdes' box packing. Catalina is a vintage reborn I created in 2008. I did have some help with the packaging ideas...thanks Staci for your brilliant ideas. :):)

I am so glad Catalina arrived to her new home safely, and that her new mom is happy with her! :)

I wish you all could see me right now. There is a ton of colorful confetti shooting from my ears, hehe! :) I am so happy to be working on dolls again. During my break from this blog, I did not work on dolls at all. I am pretty sure I had an artist’s block. The sight of paint, doll parts and this blog seriously made me want to puke. Weird, I know...

Luke(y) will definitely be finished up soon. :) I had a lot of fun with his hair last night! I deep conditioned it, and brushed it into place with gel. The top and back of his hair are not brushed in the photos—only the front and sides—so ignore those sticky up pieces, lol. I wasn’t too keen on his straight hair at first, but now I love it! I am actually considering straight hair for a future reborn.

I removed most of Luke’s paint so I could rebuild the layers (I am way too picky…). I also have to finish painting his hair line and eyebrows.

The next photos I post of Luke will be auction photos. Pinky swear. *wink*

Oh yeah-- my bndolls email account is no longer in service. I have had so many problems with that account! If anyone sent emails during my break, I did not get them, sorry.

I literally gasped aloud when I saw these pacifiers for sale at Wal Mart yesterday evening. A pregnant lady standing next to me looked over and asked, "Are you expecting too? Are these good pacifiers?" I did not know how to respond, so I just told her yes. :-) Hey, did you really expect me to tell her that I needed them for my life-like dolls, and that I was planning to write an entire blog entry about them? Not in this lifetime. LOL! [And, by the way, I was wearing a coat that made me look poofy-- NO more real bambinos for me...one is enough... *wink*]

Anywhoo, faithful readers know that I am obssessed with unique pacifiers that photograph well. I have only known this style of NUK to be sold in Germany and I have wanted them for years! I can't wait to cut the nipples off and glue the magnets on. I wonder what the Wal Mart mommy-to-be would think of that? hehe

Isn't this little man adorable? I just love his smile and pose! He looks so cool. :-) He is modeling an outfit from the Pumpkin Patch that I wish I could have ordered, but the newborn size I need is sold out. *cries* I know Pumpkin Patch has several similar styles, but I really wanted that exact outfit. You know how you just picture your doll photographed in a certain outfit, with certain colors, and a certain hat?? It is probably just me, lol! I'll continue browsing Pumpkin Patch's delicious site and post my selections here soon.



I took a trip to Anne Geddes' website this morning to see if she had anything left over from the 50% off sale and sure enough, I was able to snag the coverall pictured above along with the matching, blue blankie. My previous order from Anne Geddes arrived a while ago and I am really impressed with the sizing. The newborn size is perfect!
